SASSA implements November payout boost across all social programs: Check Full Payment Dates and New Amounts

Social grants in South Africa will go up starting November 2025. This change will help the many people who get money from SASSA. Revised SASSA Grant Values Announced for November 2025

SASSA will increase social grants twice in 2025. The first increase starts in April and the second one in November . Here are the new monthly payments:

Old Age Grant – Ages 60-74 will get R2,315 instead of R2190 – Ages 75+ will get R2335 instead of R2,210

– People with disabilities will now receive R2,315 up from R2,190.

– The Care Dependency Grant also goes up to R2,315 from R2,190.

– Parents will get R560 per child for Child Support which was R530 before.

– Foster parents will now receive R1,250.

 The Grant-in-Aid has gone up to R560 from R530. The SRD Grant stays at R370 which is R20 more than the old amount of R350. This grant might go up to between R420 and R500 later. These changes will help over 19 million people buy food and pay bills during this time when prices are going up by 5.2% & food costs by 6.1%

Province-Wise SASSA Payment Calendar for November 2025

SASSA has announced the November 2025 payment schedule to make things easier for everyone. Here’s when you can get your money:

– Old Age Grant will be paid on November 5

– Disability Grant payments start November 6

– All Children’s Grants will be paid on November 7 The SRD Grant will be paid between November 16 & 29.

You can check your exact date at srd.sassa.gov.za & get an SMS about it. You can get your money from any bank or stores like Pick n Pay Shoprite & Boxer. You can also use your SASSA card. It’s better to wait a few days after the payment date to collect your money. This way you can avoid long lines & stay safer.

Steps to Ensure You Get Your Full Grant On Time

You need to check your bank details and phone number to get your payments on time. You can do this on the SASSA website at srd.sassa.gov.za or send a text to 32555. Don’t forget to update your address & marriage status too. This helps SASSA send your money faster. Keep your PIN & personal info safe to avoid fraud. SASSA suggests using a Postbank black card for payments. These cards will replace the old gold cards in March 2025. You can also use ATMs to get your money. Remember that keeping your information up to date helps protect your payments.

What’s Changing in October & December 2025 for SASSA Beneficiaries?

The government will raise social grants by around R10 starting in October 2025. The Older Persons Grant will increase to R2,325 for people aged 60 to 74. People who are 75 and older will get R2325.
