Smart Ways to Track Your Pension Payment Status and Avoid Unnecessary Delays

How to Get Your Payment on Time: Make sure to switch your payment method by the 19th of each month. This helps avoid delays and ensures all paperwork gets done on time. You might even be able to make changes for the next payment cycle. Before you go to change your bank details or visit the grant office bring your ID and bank statements with you. You must have your South African ID and proof of your bank account. If you need to switch between cash payment and bank deposit and the branch is far away just go to your closest SASSA office. Don’t feel like you need to rush to get your payment right away. Many people show up very early which creates long lines. You can come later in the day or even wait a few days. Your payment will still be there.
