Common Mistakes That Can Delay Your SASSA Payment
If your SASSA payment stops it might be because your bank details are wrong or SASSA needs to check who you are. Watch out for fraud since it can affect your payments. Remember SASSA only allows one deduction each month. This deduction can’t be more than 10% of your grant. If you notice any problems you need to tell SASSA quickly. You can do this by going to their office or sending an SMS to 34548. In the SMS include your ID number and the name of your provider. If your SRD status shows as “referred” you should go online to confirm your identity. This will help you get your payment faster.
